| So Saturday was my last Lodi, it still hasn't sunk in that marching
band is not over. Man the show seemed like it was 30 seconds long. But
god was it awesome. The best EVER. I'm gonna miss marching band so
much, well not the marching part but the people are so chill.

| Hey,
Wow I guess its been a while, they have cool new tools here. Aaron likes them.
in Lit AP we got an essay last thurs, rough draft was due mon, and
final was due today. What crap, one week to write a paper, I hate
english, so why am i taking AP Lit? oh yeah for these college bastards.
So I have written 6 essays so far, and I need to revise them all a few
more times. But they cover the Stanford app which is due Nov 1, and
they cover the common ap (which takes just about anything) and most of
my add-ons to the common ap. I wrote my whole
engineering/entreprenuership essay. God damn why do they ask people
applying for a BSE (bachelors of science in engineering (i think)) to
write an essay. They should know that most of us hate english which is
why they want to become engineers.
Anyways so my final college list is:
Strech schools - Brown, Duke, MIT, Penn, Princeton, Stanford, Yale
Target schools - Johns Hopkins and Tufts (easier than JH)
Back ups - USC, UCLA(I hope this is a back-up), UCSD, UCSB
I agree that I am crazy but hey, if im applying to 7 schools that
accept about 10% then i have a 70% chance of getting into atleast one
right? I know great, but faulty logic.
Also I have my first interview on October 10, with a guy from johns
hopkins. I think he is really wealthy and smart, cuz his website has
like his resume, and its all like non-profits, he graduated from
crystal springs in 1995, and graduated from JH in 1998, yes that is
only 3 years!
Wish me luck, and I wish all of u the best of luck! If anyone has any
questions about these schools, feel free to ask, I know way too much
about them.

| Hey,
Band camp... well one time at band camp ............... Aaron ate meat
on a platter, that tasted like salt. Aaron froze and sweated at the
same time. Aaron did NOT get sunburned. I know I have nothing
interesting. But still senior yr band camp kicked ass!
Europe ... was fun but kinda hard to do since it was 3 weeks with just
my parents and nobody who spoke english. Clubbing alone sucks.
College shit ... Would anyone read my college essays, if you would read
1 I would be very appreciative, and feedback is great too. I can always
return the favor, but you don't have to be a senior to read my essays.
(Warning, I am not a great writer and yes somethigns I say are very
cliche, so tell me that when you read what I wrote, thanks). Thanks in

Common Ap: This is a big one for lots of schools, most schools that use it also ask for one or two other essays (see Yale as an example of this), but if you can do this Ap you should have lots of work done for most of the other schools because they ask similar questions and for the same info.
